Women at arms - series

Holy update of Jesus! Ahem. Well, I though you should know that I've made some progress with the series. Three of the ladies are finished, as you can see on the list.
Aaand...Well, I reached 7000 pageviews today. That's pretty amazing. Thank you, everyone! :D


In order to further add to my burden of work, I shall endeavour a journey. I shall, in short, create a series of drawings. Again. And although I know I'll fail halfway through, I will still try.
The theme for the series will be Women at arms, and will include most of, if not all, my original ladies armed with something nasty. It's simple, brutal and quite possibly a bit hot. So far the list looks like this:

Alkaid - Flame-thrower (I won't begin with this until I've finished some of the other drawings, because it'll be hell. I haven't got a clue what a flame-thrower looks like, really. I need some good reference pictures for the pose as well as the...well, the flame-thrower itself)

Asha - Guns. Two of them. Uniform!

Ayram - Fire-axe. (See, I like axes, and I really wanted someone to be armed with an axe. So, naturally I choose my alter-ego :D)

Ithien - She's a born sniper ^^ Rooftops ftw!

Saphir - Sword. She's an angel after all. Can't see any of them armed with anything but a sword. Perhaps a spear.

Melodia - Haven't figured out what yet, but probably some scimitar or similar. A blade, at least. Curved...Yes, perhaps that'll be good.

Amandava - As always, she's a tricky one. It seems that either me characters are bland and boring, or extremely complicated. She's both, and that makes it so much worse. Suggestions are appreciated.

Daschnaya - Daggers. Or possibly a short sword.

Miriel (Belongs to ~CuruwenXayide) - Dagger

Sameera (Belongs to ~Bumbibob) - Sword

Angel (Belongs to ~Silmarama) - Scythe

And...That's it. Now, should you like to suggest another character, one of my own, one of yours or perhaps someone from...well, anything really, feel free to do so. As long as it's a woman, it's fine by me :)

I'm a very random person. Must be the climate, or hormones or something, because I just can't stop writing stuff. Nothing productive though...Anyway...Presentation time!

I'm a 20-year old Swedish student (female). And no, it's true. We do exist outside bad pornos. In fact, there's quite a few of us. I'm not blonde. I don't have blue eyes either. They're green.

Besides that, I'm crazy. In many ways. I've been told I'm a very calm and collected person, but that's just because if I let all the crazy out, someone will shoot me. That's the kind of people you shoot; crazy people and good people. And I've never, ever been placed in the latter group, which means I don't have to get shot twice at least. That's nice.

I'm also a bit of a cynic and a bastard (cynical bastard, mebbe?), but only to people I don't like. I don't like people very much, I think they're idiots. It's one of my more charming sides. But if you get to know you, and you me, I won't give you the sarcasm, because I probably like you then. Or maybe I will, but I'll still like you. And if I'm too mean, I'll let you hit me. Hard.

I also read too much. And listen to music only dads listen to. And by god I talk a lot. Lots and lots, and very fast too. And it's mostly nonsense. Bring your iPod when you're seeing me. But please don't show it to me, I don't like Apple.

I draw, but not very well these days. I hope to change that when I get more time. I don't know when I will, though, because for the next ten years or so, I'll be locked in a lab. Sometimes I write too. Not very well either, but I really try to improve in that arena, so when I start posing my texts in my gallery, I'd love some feedback. Pretty please?

I guess I better write in english even though it feels a bit odd to do so. I just wanted to say that I'm impressed with the stuff you have published here. I got really surprised when I saw how much there was. You must be very productive! I'll keep on checking in here every now and then to see how you are doing. Keep on drawing! And keep on writing too :)

My favorite? Hard one... I liked this one very much: [link] because I like spiders, and it is cool in many ways, like nicely framed and such. But there are many pieces in your gallery with coolness in them.

Not much to check out on my gallery yet. Nothing at all really. But I hope I will soon post a picture I'm working at at the moment, and I'm quite fond of it so far. Check it out later, if you feel like :)

Thank you very much :) I was productive, once. Much in my gallery I made a few years ago, and I've kept most of it, because I still like it.

I like that one too, even though I don't like spiders at all. Scary things.

I will, and already have, truth to be told. I've just been so lazy I haven't commented yet. But I can't for the life of me understand why Anna thought our styles reminded her of each other. I'm very glad she thought so, though. You're way better than me, from what I've seen so far. I will follow you with great interest.

I don't really think our styles remind a lot about each others either. But I think she refered to the motives, which err... doesn't remind much of each other either :P But in school when I was doing doodles and sketches in my notebooks and mathbooks it was usually fantasy related stuff, which you have some of aswell.

And I don't think you can say that I'm much better than you. It's different. I spent over 50 hours for sure on the picture I uploaded first. Working digital I can edit forever, and I do. And there is so much that can make a picture stand out as a good one. In my opinion your strength is good concepts... and I like the way you use color in many of your pictures :)
